David Acton

Chief "Get It Done" Officer

No one can build faster, push harder and accomplish more.  His team is often in amazement at what he can accomplish, and accomplish well, with little fanfare. To him, a day of exceptionally hard work is, well, just another day. David graduated from Auburn University in 1977 with a degree in Building Science, but his construction education really started at age fifteen when he started working with his father’s home-building business. Bill Acton taught David how to build a house from the ground up. David went on to also work for his father-in-law, Jerry Posey, who was a General Contractor in Fort Benning and Columbus, Georgia. He learned so much in those years!

David now has almost 50 years’ experience in residential and commercial construction. He has an innate appreciation of land and has become an expert at evaluating lots for construction suitability. His trademark is hands-on, “boots in the mud,” professional results.

David and his wife Cindy have been married for 42 years and are the proud parents of three beautiful daughters and eleven exceptional grandchildren.  He is happiest when running or hiking in the woods, preferably without a trail map.
